4.1.1 Function description

Module supply

 The module supply provides the module with voltage.

Signals at the output

 “0” signal (0 V) at the output:

– Output is high impedance

– No current to the load

 “1” signal (+24 V) at the output:

– Output is low impedance

– Current is supplied to the load

Periphery supply

 The module routes the periphery supply from the module bus to the

base module terminals.

 The periphery supply is used to supply the outputs.

Outputs

 The head module sets the output status via the module bus.

When the PSSu E F PS1(-T) is used to supply the system, the module

supply is buffered for 20 ms if the supply voltage is interrupted.
